Young People's Challenge

The Biblical Library in Blackpool, England, has announced this year's 'Young People's Challenge'. Every year they set an essay competition for young people, usually based on the life of a significant Christian individual. This year's topic is:

'The Life of Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones'

Extra credit will be given for attempting to include the following in your paper:

1) The controversy at the Keele Congress
2) His view on the 'baptism of the Holy Spirit'. Do you agree? Explain.
3) What long series of Bible expositions did he engage in? Have you read any? Will you attempt to read some now in print?

Junior Category: Age 14 and under. 1500 words maximum
Senior Category: Age 15 to 25. 2000 words maximum

Closing date is September 2009.
